This is going to be a recap for my recent trip with my photo editorial class as we recently had an off campus lighting tutorial at Go U.S.A funpark here in Murfreesboro.
1:00 P.M. – Class Begins
Around 12:45 P.M. I make my way over to the photo building to meet up with my photo friends and carppol over to our meetup location. Luckily, being a Murfreesboro native, I navigated us there without getting stuck in traffic. We pull up to the location at 1:03 P.M.
Lights, Camera, Action!
We find our class in the park at the very far left end behid the castle on the put put course. Behind the castle, we help set up the lighting equipment and get our model into position. Around 2:00 P.M. we have everything set up and we begin taking turns shooting the model in various poses and positions with the full framed Nikon D810 camera.
“There’s warmth in numbers”
As we braved the chilly weather, we moved like pinguins together in hurds, the wind was brutal and without a jacket you really felt the wrath of Mother Nature. The cold conditions made it difficult to hand hold and oporate the camera, so taking turns came in handy as the rest of us gathered the body warmth to reshoot.
One Last Group Photo
Around 2:30P.M. we were just finishing up with our vlocation shoot, but as the photo majors we are, we wanted to document our adventure ofd campus as this was one of our last meetings together as a class as a third of us won’t be returning next semester.
Another 30 or so minutes pass by with just test shots of us, some with flash, some without, some throwing the gof balls and putting clubs, some with students climbing the castle, until about 3:15 when we finally decided call the class outting a success and packup to venture home.
